Hey everyone

Well its great to be back here I've been itching to write again (insert evil laugh here ) some of you may remember some of my old posts (formerly History_buff07)

Today I thought I'd kick off the fall season with a fun subject I often have debates on and would love to have your input to help me out a little. Here's the story I've got an awesome friend named K and he really is "THE KING" of texting (I swear apple should build a monument for him!) anyways that's besides the point...we got on the topic of "the best way to ask a girl out" I mean sure every girl is different but I personally believe its best to do it in person and he believes texting is the way to go

HIS POINT

Texting leaves that air of mystery that screams "is he into me or not?" it also leaves the window open to think about a witty response given the situation--it presents itself as non-flashy and gives an air of casualty so it works great by saying "ok I'm interested but not THAT interested..."

MY POINT

Doing it face to face is the way to go, its all in the presentation my saying is if your cool with it so is she, I mean ofcourse if you show up with 3 violin players singing a whole new world at her door step she'll more then likely kick you in the throat (repeatedly ) but if your tone is casual and you present the idea as a fun date or outing she'll more then likely love to see what your really about

and the defence rests your honor.....I swear I always wanted to say that
